oh HONEY! Honey, honey, honey, honey, honey. My heart just bleeds for you, it really does. You don't need make up. You are so, so pretty. You are beautiful, and if anyone tells you otherwise, I will fly to the states (is that where you are from? I'm guessing by the accent) and kick their ass for you.
It's okay that weight loss isn't going according to plan for you, we all go through those times and I certainly go through wild fluctuations in fasting and then binging like mad. So you aren't alone there and certainly with the emotional eating thing too. When I realised I was tagged, the first thing I did was cry to mum and then go and eat a HUGE burger.
And don't say that you're not good enough at being bad enough. If you want to get help, you should. Like, I say, it's the principle of the matter. We can't look at food in a normal way, and I really do miss the when I could. You're a lot sicker than you give yourself credit for. Obviously, I am very much still in the pro ana boat, but I would be a terrible doctor if I actually said that people who want recovery shouldn't get it. I think for us, because seeing food in this way is normal for us, we forget how strange it is to other people. I can tell you that if you did get help, they would take you seriously. They won't shove you into a medical ward and stuff food down your throat, but you do have a serious issue.
The boy. I really don't know what to say to you. I've never had a boyfriend so I have no idea how to deal with boyfriend issues. I guess all I can say is that I'm here for you, you can cry to me whenever you want to and I'll listen and comfort you as best I can. What I can say is that I understand what you mean about you not understanding why he liked you. I don't know why any boy might like me, and so I've never believed it when my girlfriends said that a guy liked me. And he won't think you're too fat to have food issues. If he really cares about you, he'll be worried sick about you.
And hun, I watched your video three times. It could easily have been a vlog I made myself (aside from the boy thing) because I totally understood everything you said.
(WOW long comment) I'm so sorry you're feeling so rotten. But I'm here for you, I totally feel what you feel, you're not alone and I think you are BEAUTIFUL and that you are so brave to struggle on through it all. And in my world, my opinion is most important so there!
Lots of love to you hun, and I hope you get to feeling better soon.
Girl, I feel your pain. And I don't want to say this to be rude or suggest that you're crazy or something, but have you considered talking to somebody like a counselor or psychiatrist? Not even necessarily about the eating problems, I understand if you're not ready to give that up or whatever. But honestly if you're having trouble making it to class or meetings or getting your work done, I really think you should talk to someone. College is hard, especially your first semester, and I'm sure your school has some kind of free counseling service for students. I went to counselors at my school last spring and it really helped me a lot. I'm keeping you in my thoughts hun, and I hope you start feeling a little better.
And I'm sorry I don't know what to say. I want to say something like, feel better, don't worry, everything will be okay. But I know when I'm sad, I can't believe that honestly. It just looks nice.
Uhm, (not like I normally do this or anything), but I remember you're a Christian, and I guess that means you've got a Bible somewhere, and I kinda hope this makes you feel better.
It's Matt. 4:5. I think you'll be alright. And I'm sorry I don't have all the right words today (not that I'm sure I ever really do), but I hope that at least cheers you up some.
You're one of few people I've seen who looks lovely even when they smile sadly. Anyway, I hope something good happens to you. You should be happy.
Jackie, it breaks my heart to see you like this. I wish I could be there for you right now and make you laugh. But Jackie you look beautiful. You are beautiful inside and out, and I know Connor and Vishwa would both agree.
I agree with what others above have said (and I've said before) about going to talk to someone. It could definitely help to have someone to talk to about what you're going through and the things you're feeling, and it should be free through your college.

Jackie, love, I have this crazy idea: are you on skype?

^Yes! Clearly this is something that can't be dealt with just through posts. I'd love to help perk you up in any way possible.
ReplyDeletep.s I'm in complete agreement with everything you said. Basically, DEPRESSION IS A BIIIITCH
ReplyDeleteJackie, I understand.
ReplyDeleteI understand how you feel. Exactly.
