it's been 3 days. only 3 days. and I've managed to screw up two of them.
I wrote this really long post yesterday but deleted the whole thing because I was so upset with myself. saying I didn't meet the 300 goal would be an understatement. i don't want to think about it anymore.
so in light of yesterday's humiliating failure, I was determined to make today a success. nope, of course not, I'm a weakling. the goal was 400. I got 610.
On top of the caloric disasters, I haven't gone running on either day. nor did I do my calisthenics.
In other news, guess what arrived in the mail today? that's right! MY SCALE! i'm so happy about it. it's all pretty and sleek and digital. love it <3 and I love what it told me too, 145 :)
So now I can satisfy my desires to know my weight to my heart's content. I was dying not knowing. I couldn't ever tell if I was making any progress at all. Well, I still kinda don't since my starting weight is of questionable integrity. oh well. I'm gonna say my starting weight is 150 and I've lost 5 pounds in 2 months. wow. actually, now that I put it that way I feel terrible about it. I'm slow...
well. sorry about the bad post. I'm just super mad at myself for all this failing. forgive me.

I weighed myself in just my underwear and went down to 143.6. who knew your clothes weighed so much? I'm happy about this. it brings me super close to my next goal of 143. let's hope it's lower in the morning
Oh, hun :( That is not a 'caloric failure' by any means! And it doesn't matter how fast you're losing, all that matters is you're losing. I'm sure we can help you speed it up by keeping you on track! We're proud of you always :)

aw hun, I'm sorry about the intake. I did that too today, wanted to be under 800 and was a little over 900. gross. and uh, welcome to the world of digital scales! I weigh in about 5x a day. In only underwear is the only way to go! Sending you skinnies darling xo feel free to juice fast with me tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteHey, don't worry about failing (yesterday was a bad day for me as well), just pick up with the next day and start again! And remember that awesome quote, "It doesn't matter how slow you go, as long as you don't stop!" Weight loss can be a slow, very slow, process but in the end it's worth it. It's actually better to lose weight slowly because then you're less likely to put it all back on.
ReplyDeleteYay for the scale! I don't know what I would do without mine- go crazy probably. Yes, clothes do add on weight. I always weigh in the morning after using the bathroom (extra water adds weight too ^^). Congrats on the weight loss too! Now you'll have something that gives numbers so you can have something to go by.
